Esusu and Progress Residential partner to bring rent reporting to single-family rental housing

""

Since launching in 2018, Esusu has been at the forefront of helping renters boost their credit scores by reporting on-time rent payments to the major credit bureaus. We started with a focus on reaching those renting in multifamily buildings, as well as those in student and senior housing. We have incredible partnerships with multifamily property owners, and our team has long recognized the opportunity to expand our services even further.

We’re excited to announce a historical partnership with Progress Residential, expanding our rent reporting platform and financial health solutions to residents of its single-family rental homes nationwide. Our mission to dismantle housing barriers for working families means reaching renters in any city and in any type of housing. Bringing rent reporting to single-family homes represents one of the largest expansions of our platform to date.

Through this partnership, we’ll reach more than 250,000 Progress Residential residents across approximately 80,000 homes nationwide.

Progress Residential is a pioneer in the single-family rental market and has long been committed to putting residents first and removing barriers to housing choice. As the Progress Residential looked for further ways to support its residents, we were also looking to expand our services to renters of single-family homes. This partnership is a perfect fit to provide their renters with the opportunity to build credit and financial stability.

This is not only one of the largest expansions of Esusu to date but a use case for rent reporting in the single-family rental market. If we are going to achieve our vision of bridging the racial wealth gap through the power of data, we need to reach renters in every corner of the market. It’s of the utmost importance to have collaborative partners like Progress Residential to do this.

We’re so excited to continue on this journey of building credit and financial opportunities for millions of people across the country who have previously been left behind. A massive thank you to the entire team at Progress for making this possible.
