I've used Esusu for the last year. I've never liked the implicit pressure to take out credit cards just to increase your credit score, and I was looking for services that would help report rent payments to credit bureaus. I can't find the exact number, but after using Esusu my credit score went up 30-40 points. It's very easy to report my rent payment each month, and they're customer service is great.

I’ve been using Esusu since 2020. It changed my life! That sounds dramatic but it is true. Early in 2023 I bought a condo, my first home purchase, made possible because my credit score went up 100s of points after 1 year of using Esusu. Once my income also increased, I was able to get approved and make a purchase.

How does rent reporting work?

Esusu works directly with your property manager to set up rent reporting for your building. You just keep doing what you’re already doing – paying your rent on time.

We’ll report your on-time payments to the three major credit bureaus (Equifax, Experian, and TransUnion) each month. Once you have access to the Esusu Resident Portal, you’ll be able to check your credit history and score to see rent reporting in action.

Don’t worry, we’ll never report late or missed rent payments. As a do-no-harm model, we’ll only report the payments that help improve your score.
