Esusu Acquires Celeri to Revolutionize Fraud Prevention in Housing
In today’s multifamily housing market, fraud is on the rise. One in 10 rental applicants submits false documents, and 93% of property managers report fraud incidents in the last year. That’s why we’re proud to announce our acquisition of Celeri, a leading AI-powered fraud prevention software provider for the residential real estate industry. This partnership marks a leap forward, equipping property owners with advanced tools to combat rental fraud and creating fairer housing opportunities for working families.

Product Updates
New Renter PII Reports in the Esusu Dashboard
The PII Gap Report is a new feature in the Esusu Dashboard that helps property managers maximize resident credit reporting by identifying residents missing crucial information.
This report provides a downloadable file with details of residents missing their Social Security Number (SSN) or Date of Birth (DOB). These details are essential for accurate credit reporting because they:
- Link a resident’s rental payments to their credit history.
- Prevent identity fraud.
- Ensure the resident’s credit history is reported to credit bureaus.
By providing missing SSNs and DOBs in your Property Management System, you can ensure that Esusu can include all residents in credit reporting, helping them build a positive credit history.
Want to see this feature in your dashboard, and don’t yet? Reach out to your account manager today!

Free tax filing in the Esusu Tax Hub
This year Esusu is launching a dedicated Tax Hub for tax filing and year-round tax estimation, powered by april.
Tax filing will be free for all renters in Esusu Communities, helping avoid hidden fees or upsells. We know that many renters are uncertain about whether they’ll get a refund or owe taxes, so the Tax Hub also has an Estimator to predict how big a renter’s refund could be. Renters will also get a maximum refund guarantee, an AI-powered experience that reduces the number of questions required, and provides seamless document upload.
Renters will be able to access the Tax Hub in the Esusu app or via web in the Resident Portal, starting early February. Please share the flyer with your renters.
