Esusu announces Series C funding

We’re excited to share that Esusu has raised a Series C round to continue expanding our platform and deepening our impact across housing and financial wellness. This funding enables us to invest further in product innovation, strengthen partnerships across the ecosystem, and scale solutions that help residents build credit and achieve long-term financial stability.

For our partners, this milestone reinforces Esusu’s long-term commitment to supporting property teams with tools that drive resident outcomes, portfolio performance, and operational confidence — while advancing our mission to remove financial barriers to housing.

Esusu & Zillow Launch CreditClimb

Zillow’s launch of CreditClimb, powered by Esusu, is a strong market signal that rent reporting is becoming a consumer expectation — and that Esusu is the trusted infrastructure powering it at national scale.

What this means for our clients

  • Third‑party validation: CreditClimb is built on Esusu’s rails and reports to Equifax, Experian, and TransUnion, reinforcing the reliability and compliance standards behind your Esusu program.
  • Expanded awareness: National consumer visibility from Zillow reduces education lift for onsite teams and makes rent reporting easier to recognize and trust during leasing and renewals.
  • Proven impact: Esusu-powered rent reporting has driven an average +45 point credit score increase for renters who consistently pay on time and has collectively unlocked $30B+ in mortgages after rent reporting — advancing pathways toward homeownership.
  • Guidance for property-led programs: If your property offers Esusu rent reporting, residents do not need to enroll in external services like CreditClimb; they’re already covered through your existing service.

A refreshed Esusu website, built to reflect the work we do

We’ve updated the Esusu website to better reflect who we serve, how our solutions work together, and the impact we help our partners deliver. The refreshed experience is designed to clearly communicate our value across property teams, lenders, and ecosystem partners — while showcasing the outcomes that matter most.

What’s new:

  • Clearer positioning by audience and solution
The site is now organized to make it easier for owners, operators, and partners to understand how Esusu supports their specific goals — from rent reporting and Identity Services to financial tools that help residents build long-term stability.
  • More cohesive product and impact storytelling
Updated pages more clearly connect our solutions to real-world outcomes, highlighting how Esusu helps drive resident credit building, portfolio performance, and risk reduction — not just features in isolation.
  • A more modern, polished experience
The redesigned interface delivers a cleaner, more intuitive look and feel that reflects the scale and sophistication of our platform today, making it easier to explore Esusu’s full offering with confidence.

If you haven’t visited the site recently, now is a great time to take a look around and see what’s new.

Product & Dashboard Updates

User Experience Highlights

  • Enhanced security: Password fields now properly mask sensitive information during input, reducing the risk of exposed credentials and helping your teams stay aligned with internal security and compliance standards. This small but important change builds trust with onsite staff and residents by reinforcing that sensitive account access is handled with care.
  • Success notifications: Clear, in-app confirmation now appears when you make integration updates or configuration changes, so property and IT teams know immediately when updates have been saved successfully. This reduces second-guessing, duplicate work, and support tickets, and gives your teams confidence that your data connections are working as expected.
  • Performance optimization: Improved route validation under the hood makes the Esusu Dashboard feel faster and more responsive, especially when navigating between properties, reports, and integrations. That means less time waiting for pages to load and more time focusing on leasing performance, risk management, and resident support.

Resident Resources

A redesigned Esusu App experience

The Esusu App now has a refreshed look and feel, designed to make it easier for residents to understand what’s available to them and take action. The updated experience includes cleaner navigation, clearer entry points to tools like the Credit Score Hub and rent reporting visibility, and more accessible language that explains what each feature does and why it matters for a resident’s financial journey.

New Marketplace Partner: Dollar For

Dollar For is a nonprofit organization that helps people reduce or eliminate medical debt by connecting them with hospital financial assistance programs they may already qualify for. Dollar For has already erased over $108M for patients nationwide.

Through our new partnership, residents in Esusu Communities can:

  • Check eligibility for charity care and hospital financial assistance programs.
  • Get guided support in preparing and submitting applications.
  • Reduce the burden of unexpected medical bills so they can stay focused on rent, savings, and other financial goals.
